The staff of Kentwood Manor strives to create and maintain a home-like environment while providing superior care and services. We provide both 24-hour skilled nursing care and custodial care, depending on individual needs. We individualize each resident’s plan of care to meet the needs of both long term residents and also those who need short term rehabilitation after an injury or illness.
Our employees are committed and dedicated to the residents here at Kentwood Manor and they take pride in the care they provide. Our staff turnover is very low, which means that our employees get to know our residents well and provide continuity of care. Our therapy team provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We also provide restorative nursing care. These services assist residents in reaching and maintaining their maximum level of independence for as long as possible. Our facility encourages family participation in the planning for the care of their loved one and we invite residents and their families to all care plan meetings.
Our facility has been graded a four-star facility by the Federal Government/Medicare.
There are many community volunteer activities in addition to the daily activities led by our certified activity department. We provide transportation to and from doctor appointments. We are a smoke-free facility but we do have 2 designated smoking areas for residents that smoke. We have flexible visiting times to accommodate residents and visitors’ individual schedules.
