Welcome Home to Northridge Care Center

Northridge is located in the small community of Baker which is moments away from Baton Rouge and Zachary.  Northridge offers excellent nursing care and supervision and lots of long term employees.  Besides traditional long term care and short term rehabilitation, Northridge offers specialized units that differentiate it from surrounding facilities.  We have a Memory Enhancement/Alzheimer’s Unit as well as a specialized men’s unit, called the Lighthouse.

Our long term care provides nursing care, recreational activities, therapeutic diets, a variety of therapies, and supervision for elderly or disabled adults.
Our short term rehabilitation focuses on assisting individuals in returning to their home.   After a hospitalization, patients are often not ready to return to home.  They need Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative services to increase their independence and condition themselves to meet the challenges that they will encounter upon returning to their homes.  Our Physical, Occupation, Speech, and Skilled Nursing services assist individuals in achieving more independence.  This is one of the most rewarding services that we provide.

The Memory Enhancement Unit specializes in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.  Our facility and staff have cared for residents with this condition for many years and are especially familiar with this needed type of care.
The Lighthouse Unit is a specialized unit for men.  This unit provides needed structure and a more soothing environment for men that require this level of care.  The Lighthouse excels in caring for and improving the outcomes of men that are appropriate for this unit.
