CCI Management Team

CCI manages a broad range of post acute care companies and services including skilled nursing facilities, geriatric behavioral healthcare, hospice care, post acute nurse practitioners, and tele-healthcare. CCI and managed services employee approximately 2000 people and provides services in over thirty states.

Donna Harrell McPherson is the President and Chairwoman of CCI. She graduated from Louisiana College and later attended Northeast Louisiana University to work on her graduate studies. For many years, Mrs. McPherson worked in the public service area of corrections, but transitioned to help her mother, Mrs. Jerrine Harrell, after the untimely death of CCI’s co-founder Louis P. Harrell. Our mission has always been based on the Christian Foundation to serve, provide quality care, employ the best people, while continuing to grow the business to extend the LP Harrell Legacy.

James E. "Lannie" Richardson is the Chief Executive Officer of CCI. Mr. Richardson graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in accounting and later earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. Mr. Richardson has served CCI as CEO for fourteen years. Mr. Richardson has worked in healthcare in many capacities in the past forty two years. Mr. Richardson’s career beginning as a Medicare Auditor, which led to serving as a hospital CFO, and eventually to a hospital CEO. Mr. Richardson also served the healthcare industry as a consultant in financial consulting, regulatory matters and also in turnaround situations. In partnership with Donna McPherson the Chairwoman of CCI and Nicole Howard COO/CFO, Mr. Richardson has seen CCI grow in post acute care over the years and diversify into complimentary lines of businesses.

Nicole Howard is the Chief Operating Officer of CCI. She is responsible for oversight of all new software projects and implementations, all new building construction and licensing, as well as assisting with CEO with new developments. Nicole also manages the in-house therapy, MDS, coding, and financial teams. Prior to joining CCI, she held the position of Assistant Chief Accountant at Dimension Development Company, a hotel management company in Natchitoches, Louisiana and was the tax accountant for Margaret Vienne, CPA. Nicole has also performed self-employed CPA services since 1999. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She obtained her certification and license in October of 1999.

Cathy Newhouse is the Chief Executive Officer of Hospice Home Care, Inc., a subsidiary of CCI, where she brings more than 25 years of clinical and business development experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Newhouse spent more than 18 years in executive level management roles before taking the helm of Hospice for CCI across Arkansas and Mississippi.

She comes to CCI most recently after the role of president at Newhouse and Associates, LLC where she consulted for healthcare providers seeking innovative solutions for care transitions and the post-acute continuum. Ms. Newhouse was the chief growth officer and senior vice president of clinical program development and innovation for LHC Group in Louisiana where she created strategy and training programs to develop a sales force of more than 350 associates into a team that achieved the highest organic top line growth in company history across all company divisions.

In her career Ms. Newhouse has visited more than 400 healthcare communities nationwide, giving her a comprehensive look at what leads to success and best methods for collaboration between hospitals, physicians and the community care continuum.

Ms. Newhouse earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in management from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and holds a certification in nursing administration from the American Nurses Association. She also maintains memberships in a bevy of professional organizations including: Home Health Quality Improvement Campaign, Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation, American Nurses Association, American Association of House Call Physicians, National Association Home Care/Hospice.

Dennis Simoneaux is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Provider Health Services (PHS), managing the day to day field operations of the company across 12 states. Mr. Simoneaux has been in the healthcare industry for nearly 30 years. He joined PHS in 2012 as Director of Business Development and has served in the capacity of President and COO since November of 2014. Prior to joining PHS, Mr. Simoneaux was an Executive Director for the LHC Group, one of the nation’s largest and most well-respected home health companies. Mr. Simoneaux is also a veteran of the Pharmaceutical Industry, having held various positions over 21 years in sales, sales management, marketing, strategic business development, and training. Mr. Simoneaux has a B.S. in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, and has completed post-graduate studies in management at The University of New Orleans, and law at Louisiana State University Law School.

Bob Richardson is the Chief Compliance Officer of CCI. He graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. In addition, he serves CCI in the role as HIPAA Security Officer and has worked in a variety of settings related to Project Management, System Development, and Compliance.

Bob came to CCI with sixteen years of healthcare and technology experience, including serving as the Business Application Software Manager at Acadian Ambulance. He was responsible for software developers who implemented, maintained, and developed software solutions to meet the needs of the company. He also worked for CLECO Corporation as a Systems Analyst implementing and supporting a variety of software solutions.

Dana McGee is the Chief Financial Officer of CCI. Dana came to CCI with 20 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining CCI, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Winn Parish Medical Center and Avoyelles Hospital. Both are acute care hospitals serving the rural communities of Central Louisiana offering a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services. Dana was also employed by CHRISTUS Health for 17 years filling several rolls including Director of Accounting for CHRISTUS Dubuis Hospital and Manager of Corporate Decision Support. Prior to her healthcare experience Dana worked in public accounting for 11 years for Rozier, Herrington & McKay, CPAs. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Greg Hamilton is the Director of Human Resources of CCI. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management. Greg came to CCI with over 20 years of experience in HR Management as well as 10 years in Quality and Operations Management. He worked for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 27 years and Halliburton Energy Services for the past five years. He has held various leadership roles in Human Resources including Regional HR Manager and Training Manager, as well as positions in Organizational Development and Consulting Services. During his tenure in Human Resources, he was responsible for all HR functions including Recruitment, Leadership Development, Benefits Administration, Succession Planning, and Compliance.
